Himalayas…
This ONE word brings goosebumps onto me.
The majesty, beauty and mystery around the Himalayas always attract me to travel there every year.
My whole life changed when I went to the Himalayas and took bath in an Ice-Cold Freezing Lake 14000 Ft high in Hemkund, Himalayas.
This happyness retreat journey helped me to heal my Karmas by dissolving them in the pure air and water in the Himalayas and being truly blessed for higher success, happiness, health and wealth.
Now, I have taken this as a mission to heal 1000 people in next 5 years!
As a part of my mission, this year(2017) I organized this happyness retreat one more time to the Himalayas along with 18 participants from various parts of the country.
This post is all about our group’s recent trip to the Himalayas and key learnings’ from this life transforming journey.
Himalayas Calling YOU…
My whole life changed when I went to the Himalayas and took bath in this Ice-Cold Freezing Lake 14000 Ft high in the Himalayas.

I quickly realised that,
Your Life is a process of adding more, subtracting or dissolving your Karmas in your life.
Whether you like it or not, whether you understand it or not,
Your Life is determined by the Law of Karma.
Whatever you are going through in your life is because of all the Karmas YOU have manufactured till date – Both good or bad!
This journey will help you to heal your karmas by dissolving them in the pure air and water in the Himalayas.
You will be truly blessed for higher success, happiness, health and wealth.
I have taken this as a mission to heal 1000 people in next 5 years!
What is Law of Karma?

When I was cleaning my laptop – decluttering old files and junk,
I found this interesting piece of article. But I do not remember who wrote this. But this is worth reading, contemplating and re-aligning our life.
What matters at the end is, have we lived our life fully.
Here are the 45 pearls of wisdom from a 90-year-old man about life.
1. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short not to enjoy it.
4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.
5. Don’t buy stuff you don’t need.

Did you know that the word “GRATITUDE” is a magic 9-Letter word & it always works!
I am highly grateful to this HORSE because it saved me!
This horse carried me through all the dangerous curves and bends at 14000 ft high in the Himalayas safely without anything in return. Watch this Video below I took in my trip to Valley of Flowers 2015.
Studies show that this one thing can make you 25% happier.
It makes you immune to anger, disappointment and frustration. It’s even been shown to heal pain and illness in your body. That one thing is GRATITUDE – and amazing things happen when you integrate it into your meditation practice. Expressing gratitude is one of the happiness enhancing activity.

Every year, as part of Happiness Retreat I organize a trip to Himalayas.
This year in July 2015(25th July – 2nd Aug 2015), we(a group of 10) went from chennai to Himalayas – Valley of Flowers, Hemkund Sahib, Badrinath & Haridwar.
It was an amazing and mesmerizing trip to the Valley of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib.
Find below some of the best photos from this trip adventurous, mindful & spiritual journey from Chennai to tip of the Indian map at the top of the Himalayas
Yeah, we even went to Mana – The Last Indian Village, which is 3 kms after Badrinath.

The word Chakra means spinning wheel. Yogic meaning of this word is “Vortex” or “Whirlpool”.
There are seven important chakras, each associated with a different part of the body along the spine from the perineum to the crown of your head. Each chakra is associated with a particular body location(nerve plexus), a color, a central emotional/behavioral issue, as well as many other personal aspects including identity, goals, rights, needs, behavioral characteristics etc.

First of all, Do you know how many times you breathe per day? 21,600 times. That’s approximately 15 breaths per minute.
But before getting into enlightenment part, Why 108? What is the significance of 108?
108 is a powerful number used across all traditions and cultures across civilizations. You will see it everywhere, on a mala (rosary beads, rudraksh) or set of mantra counting beads.

Sit in comfortable place,
Gently close your eyes,
Now,
Know that you are breathing.
Here, I am not asking you for deep breathing or forcing your breathing or asking you to feel special or thinking whether you are doing it right or not.
Just a plain awareness of breath moving in and out.
Some use mantra or syllable to hold on to the awareness in the initial stages of practice. You can mentally say the word “So” when the air flows in and “Ham” when the air flows out. I am not asking you to breathe in and out. It is happening on its own. Just become aware of it.
Breathing and knowing that you are breathing is one of simple & powerful meditation technique.
Here is a simple video on So-Ham Breath Awareness Meditation.

I successfully overcame my morning urge to prepare my own coffee. I developed my ability to wait for one hour for the 1st sip of coffee prepared by my mom. I practice the following meditation below. You can also practice this with your tea or coffee.
Breathe In – I am aware that I am sitting on my chair
Breathe Out – I enjoy sitting
Breathe In – I am aware of my whole body
Breathe Out – I smile to my whole body
Breathe In – I feel how my hands are holding the coffee tumbler (cup)
Breathe Out – I feel the warmth of the tumbler in my hands
Breathe In – I am aware of how my hands bring the tumbler towards my mouth
Breathe Out – I enjoy the smell of the coffee (freshly filtered decoction coffee)
